Whoa! It’s been a minute!
This blog seems like it’s been lost in the transformation of the drama in my life, vying for a debut once again, especially before the start of 2017.
Gosh darn it! I won’t speak drama! No!
I kept telling myself, if anything, a blog must go out before the end of 2016, right? The pressure we put on ourselves to maintain a social media presence, blogging schedule, family time and, oh, don’t forget personal, becomes a bit of an art to manage. Well, not really. That’s when good ol time management must rear its much-needed head in attempts to keep me (I don’t know about you) in line with life’s duties. #allthingspossible
One of the things that I constantly proclaim over my life is the desire to want more. Speaking of words-Girl! What are you saying to yourself? I mean are you being good or brutle with your words? Did you know that your words actually have the crucifying (Yeah, I went there) power to cause life and/or death in your whirlwind of a world? Life can do that to us.
How many times have you repeatedly told yourself?
“I can’t do this”
“Life is a trip”
“I can’t stand this season I’m in!!!”
Watch my latest You Tube video on speaking positive affirmations over your life. A must see!
I know that at least once (or a thousand times) I’ve either said or thought these words because of how I viewed myself. I viewed my life as not being in the most progressive state so I was easily tempted to speak words of negativity, disdain and hopelessness. Low self-esteem, lack of self-worth and bitterness can cause negative self talk….
Stop the presses!
Life is not over because you hit a little snag or you things didn’t work out as planned.
You can actually control your outcome. You can change your life through the power of your words.
Make sure to read the Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz.
You know what they say, life is not about what happens to you but how you react to it.
How are you reacting to your ISH today?
Believe it or not, we are all either coming out of a situation, getting ready to go into one or going through the storm right now. It’s inevitable and apart of life.
Without these scenarios, how could YOU be humbled and have a testimony to share?
So, instead of saying that you can’t do it…say you can.
Instead of telling yourself that you are in debt, speak life and say that you are coming out of it.
How about changing your views on the crazy men you’ve allowed in your life? Yeah, I went there, too.
Let’s get real-A lot of our decisions and situations that we are in right now are based on how we think and feel about ourselves.
When you start developing a positive mindset centered on forward moving and ambitious thoughts, you will see progress in and around your life.
When you stop living in the past and in the now and start aspiring for where you want your life despite what it looks like now, you will start to see the change.
I believe it and receive it today.
As you go into this New Year, don’t bring the baggage of negative thinking with you!
Start by reflecting on all the growth you’ve made because of that trial.
Begin the year by saying what you want out of life. Then, go for it.
Nothing is impossible!
Only you cause limitations because of how you see yourself.
- Your life will have a transformation next month!
- You will start that business!
- You will write that book!
- You will travel all around the world!
- You will get married!
- You will start your family!
- You will develop a deeper relationship with God!
- You will step closer into your purpose!
- You are amazing and you should want your results and life to be the same.
Lemons will be thrown at us, no doubt….it’s what you do with those lemons that matter. It’s all about dancing in the rain. Girl, if your hair is natural, rain dancing is actually fun! Get it, chile!
Let’s SPEAK LIFE, POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS AND CREATIVITY OVER OUR BEINGS.
I PRAY THAT AS YOU ENTER THE NEW YEAR, YOUR LIFE IS FILLED WITH SO MANY LIFE CHANGING MOMENTS. YOU START TO REGAIN CONTROL OVER YOUR THOUGHT PATTERNS, EMOTIONS AND THE WORDS THAT YOU SPEAK.
UNTIL NEXT TIME! BE BLESSED AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
